To our CALS and Extension family,

We recognize not only the tremendous work that many of you are doing to assist our state’s producers and communities impacted by Hurricane Matthew, but also the personal challenges you may be facing as we travel the long road to recovery together. We’re here for you.

The College of Agriculture & Life Sciences has created an employee disaster assistance resource to provide assistance to CALS and Extension employees, many of whom are going above and beyond to serve their communities while putting aside their own recovery needs.

For those employees that have sustained significant losses as a result of Hurricane Matthew, please let us know more about your areas of need so we can offer you the same kind of help that you continue to provide to thousands of North Carolinians.

CALS Employee Disaster Assistance Form

NOTE: Your personal information will NOT be made public; these requests are confidential. Responses will be viewed only by select college and Extension administration so they can work to provide you the support you need.

Working together with the N.C. Agricultural Foundation, Inc., and the N.C. Cooperative Extension Ag Programs Foundation, we have also established the N.C. Cooperative Extension Disaster Relief Fund. Collectively, these resources will help CALS and Extension employees in their recovery efforts.

Please view our video message below for more information. We sincerely appreciate all that you are doing, and we will be with you throughout this trying time.
