I would like to formally introduce myself as the new Livestock Extension Agent for Columbus County. The care and management of Livestock and poultry have been an integral part of my life and I consider it a privilege to share my passion and knowledge with others. Being a native of North Carolina I know firsthand how vital the Livestock industry is to our local communities and the State.

A little background about me. I was born and raised in Lumberton, NC and I currently reside in Bladenboro, NC. I have two Agriculture degrees from NC State University, an Associate of Applied Science in Livestock and Poultry Management, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Business Management with a minor in Poultry Science. Although I’m here to assist with all of your livestock, poultry, and forage needs, my experiences have catered to Beef Cattle, Small-ruminants, Swine, and Broiler Chickens.

Please take the time to complete this survey. As a new Agent, I want to make sure I have current contact information and also gather information to help gauge the current needs and interests in the county.

It is my personal goal to see the livestock industry grow and thrive in our county. I am very excited to work with all of you!
